Meet the Team

Hague E. HoweyHague Howey, founder and CEO of Midwest UAS Services, drone video and telementry

President/CEO and Founder

Visionary for this startup, he has undertaken the task of initiating its operation, and squaring it to operate as a legal entity, defining its mission, and managing the administrative/marketing functions of the company.

About Mr. Howey

He is motivated by being a change agent and leaving a foot print behind in solving issues by stepping back and assessing through the eyes of insight of new technology meshed with traditional solutions. The mantra that there are “No Problems, only opportunities” has guided his life. Structuring the design of solutions handing that over to others to develop and maintain with trouble shooting and resolution artfully crafted by “what if”, posed to the team, guiding them to their ownership of the outcome. Subordinate development and delegation to the limits of their capability is extremely satisfying for him. Youth development and recognizing the importance of mentors for anyone, guides his operating approach.

Training/ Education/Life

He graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business with a Major in Accounting/Finance. His first Entrepreneurial experience was a business of selling precast concrete and steel which helped pay his way through the University of Missouri. Twelve years following his college training in Finance lead to the conversion of kinetic skills in a hobby of building a personal residence, encouraged by others, lead him into a second business adventure, general contracting for 24 years. A private pilot’s certificate earned in High School and the requirements of a pilot’s certificate to fly “Drones” encouraged an interest in beginning his current new technology adventure with a focus on Construction and Engineering.

Early achievements of being an Eagle Scout, Fire Builder Tribe of Mic-O-Say, later Order of the Arrow, and as a Scoutmaster. Hague’s scouting experience has been a foundation for community service.  He has serviced on several scholarship boards; a mentor; skilled trade adviser to Millard, Omaha Public and Metro Tech schools; Chamber Think Tank; Nebraska Governor’s first committee on Affordable Housing and many other Community/Professional organizations. Most recently, He has initiated a city wide program through the affiliation of area Radio Control Clubs to: “Getting Couch Potatoes off the Couch into RC Quad Copters”.

Howey has a deep passion for community involvement with a focus on the deep knowledge that before education can really occur with youth.  He strongly feels today’s youth need to have an inner feeling of self-worth, a vision that they can aspire beyond their circumstances, and encouragement by mentors.
